What to take on a long ride
« on: April 10, 2009, 04:35:41 PM »

I have not been much of an over the road rider but am going to start doing more.  I read an article in one of the biker magazines a year or so ago, and there was a great article on what to take on the road as far as an emergency kit to do pretty much whatever you would need.  It was a great article and the writer summed it up by saying that all of the items he listed (which was very extensive, would fit in a ziploc bag and not take up much space at all.  Anyone have any idea about the article or at least have a good list as to what to take?  Thanks.

Didn't read the article but it sounds like something I should read as well.

I'll start out:

1 zip lock bag.

Yeah, but he uses them to rub his bald head so his helmet don't stick.
