Headed north last weekend, Sligo, Galway, Mayo direction, beautiful weather, almost 700 miles





Didnt take the Harley this time :-)

A few more from last weekend

Carrowmore Megalith Cemetery Sunday last, its about 5 miles outside Sligo town & predates Newgrange and the Pyramids
There are about 65 tombs/cairns/passage graves spread over a small area

Headed west to Drombeg stone circle in West Cork with one of the lads at work for the setting sun this afternoon but was greeted with snow when we reached Rosscarbery, didnt matter, good to be there, small crowd too

























You would wonder how planning was allowed for the monstrosity overlooking the circle

Hi guys, should have said, there are 24 locations to be visited on the Boyne riders photorally and the locations change each year, the Lusitania monument is the 18th one in the list for 2011 , see here
