These people might be able to help - I've had one from them before and it packs small if you get the top cover, but I haven't used it on an Ultra.

It covers the top area of the bike protecting from the worst of the rain.

I have a cover from Nelson-Rigg I use when on the road. It stuffs into a bag about the size of a football :2vrolijk_21:

Good Luck

Look at Geza Gear, not the cheapest in the world, but packs small and is of high quality.

Strong second in favor of the Exigent brand cited above.  Packs very small.  Works very well.  Surprisingly inexpensive.  And just really nice people to do business with.  An A+ all around.

How about the Harley Davidson day cover? I love mine. It's orange & black, covers the fairing, tank, tourpac. has holes for the antennas on the Ultra, good for a bike that sits out in the sun, can be used on a hot bike, (doesn't cover the engine), stores inside out in it's own zipper pouch, then slides easily into one of the saddlebags. I use mine alot, especially if I ride to work and my bike will sit out all day in the sun, saves the paint, around a $100 dollars. Could also be used inside, to keep the dust off. Probably the feature that I love the most is that it is designed to cover a bike which is hot. Has tasteful "Harley Davidson" script on the sides. Will try to post pics later on with the cover installed on my bike for others to see. I always carry mine in the saddlebag. Love it!! I think you will too!

I've seen them but never deployed one.  Didn't realize they were as flexible as you describe.  I'd always just compared the 100 bucks or so for it against the $35 or so for my Exigent covers.  That's not the only important comparision obviously.  But for me the "good" of the Exigent covers has proved to be good enough so far.

Nothing wrong with that (it is the right colors ;) :D), but I believe the original poster is looking for something to fully cover his bike while touring. One thing about the Exigent cover is that is packs small, is lightweight and another added plus it doesn't have "Harley-Davidson" printed on it. This might make some would be thief overlook his bike thinking it is another brand. :nixweiss:

I see your point. All the same I still like mine. Personally, I would not want a cover that covers the whole bike when hot, although I have seen plenty of people use them that way. As far as thievery goes, not to be a smart a@&, but thats where my insurance kicks in. I carry full coverage, zero deductable, plus GAP insurance. If somebody happens to steal my bike, well... I'm looking at a new one, plain and simple. I don't want my bike stolen or damaged, but should the unfortunate happen, well I'm covered is all I can say. I will post one picture with the cover anyways, in case somebody would like one for theirs. Thanks..
