Thanks for all the welcome guys..
I am still getting used to this forum..I have seen a lot of your cool looking bikes and some day when I get
settled in I will post some pictures. Of course I have to wait for my new bag to arrive. Talked to the dealer today
and they still do not have a time line on the bag. Ordered my center stand as I think that is one of the things I
miss the most off my 08 Ultra. Also researching what pipes to get & fuel management

Scotty,
1) Congratulations on your new SERG, I assume that you bought the O/B color!
2) Thank you for buying the SERG in Salem and taking it home to Seattle! It makes it less likely that I see other SERG's around Salem/Portland area.
3) I will echo as others have said regarding the Fullsac cores. Search the forum or check out the links above that GregKhougaz provided, changing out the cores is a fairly simple job. I bought the 2 inch and the 2.25 inch Fullsac cores and I like the 2.25 inch cores better because they have a deeper tone and a bit more rumble to them.
4) Once again, congratulations the SERG is a really great bike.

Did you notice any power change between 2 & 2.25. Low end

Hi Guilty
Sounds like you have same bike as mine in the Salem area. If you make it up this way towards Seattle shoot me a e-mail.. Thanks for the info on the Fullsac core.. When you installed them what did you do for fuel management. I am in the middle of trying to decide and any input will help.. I had PCIII on my 08 Ultra with V&H pipes and was very happy. Can you share with me what you are using etc. Did you have it dyno after install..
Thanks again

Larry,
Honestly, I wasn't paying too much attention to power differences between the 2 core sizes. In general, I was looking for exhaust sound quality when I changed to the 2.25" cores. The feel of the 110 engine is similar with either core and the differences in low end/high end power would be something that would be more noticable on the dyno.

I grew up in the Issaquah and lived on the Eastside for many years. I lived in B'ham from 87-03' and moved to Salem in 03'. Most of my family (parents, brother, sister) still lives in the Kirkland/Redmond area so I do get up your way from time to time. There sure are a lot of great roads to ride in Washington.

I bought the Super SERT many months ago and have been running with the Fullsac baffles/cores (and no SSERT) until I put some miles on the bike (over the winter). The engine pings pretty bad upon acceleration without any fuel management system in place. I have an appointment to take my SERG into Salem HD this weekend and have the SSERT installed and put on the dyno. I expect the bike is running pretty lean and the SSERT/dyno should make the bike run a lot better and provide a hp increase of 5-10 hp over stock.
As far as the fuel management system, use whatever your tuner recommends or whatever they are the most comfortable working with. I have used the PCII in the past and it worked fine. When I bought the SSERT, Power Commander did not have anything available yet for the 09' CVO bikes or I might have considered that option. There are some guys on the CVOHarley forum that use the Master Tuner and have had success with that fuel management system too.

Welcome from the Lone Star State.  Scotty, I'm new to the CVO experience, but I had the dealer install Cobra slipons to my SERG Electric Orange.  Had Cobras on my Honda VTX and they even made that sound good.  I liked them on the SERG as much for the looks because they are very similar to the originals.  Will let you know how the perform and sound.

Thanks for all the welcome and the exhaust messages.. I have made a decision and today made my order..
I ordered V&H power duals for header pipe (I want to keep my CAT just in case)
ordered Fullsac baffles  2.00 core. I was going to get 2:25 cores but the guy at Fullsac talked me out of them. He stated that you lose a little bottom end torque with the 2:25.I also ordered the V&H FuelPak for fuel management as I got tired of paying for a dyno tune with my 08 Ultra and the PCIII.

I am still a little bummed with the new bike and the bag that fell off on the freeway just after leaving the dealership. They say they will get me one ASAP but who knows when that will be...

Just in case what, you move to California? Fuel Pak, IMO is not the best product to use in this application. you are correct about the 2" vs 2.25"
