I used these guys three years ago to ship a bike from FLA to TX.  They are a little more expensive that some, but the bike is shipped in an enclosed 18 wheeler and on a specialized motorcycle palet.  It is my understanding that they did all of the shipping for American Ironhorse.  I was very satisfied with these folks.

I can gladly tell you one NOT to use - ID Transport.  Stay away.

Because of their delays, I had to lie to my dad before he died and tell him I had taken possession of his SERK.

Their drivers are great, the owner sucks.

Keyboard is the way to go.  I used them in December for the FXR4.  I was supposed to meet them at 10AM.  When I got there it was in the garage and guy was packing up.  Absolutely no issues what so ever.

There's a thread or two on motorcycle shipping already, if you want to do a search.

Jon and I shipped ours to the east coast via Keyboard.  I think more people here have shipped Keyboard than any other transport.  All have been successful and happy as far as has been reported here.

I've used Federal,a division of Allied, to ship four bikes. Three shipments were fine, one had a claimfor scraped mirrors. The claim was settled quickly and fairly. I'd use them again. They are not the cheapest option, but I'd still use them again.

I just am using www.haulbikes.com they are based in Milwaukee, Wi. and the area dealers all use them, I am have a bike brought from Rutherfordton, NC to Milwaukee area, rates were very competetive, also if you get a quote from them through eBay, they give you a discount, I hope this helps, check out their web site

Thank you all once again!!!!
I asked the manager at my Harley dealer about all these companies and he gave me a contact at Federal that he uses for the dealership and he said to drop his name!
On top of that he offered to have the bike shipped to him there so the cost will be cheaper.
So I am set. Hopefully the second week of May I will have the bike and be able to show her off with a few pics.
