andrews 50hg vs wood tw7
« on: April 26, 2009, 02:56:39 PM »

Last weekend I took my 07 seuc to a dyno shoot out it pulled 92hp and 116 torque with Rinehart true duals and hi flow air breather. I'm getting ready to take it in for the enhancements and have decided to go with some headwork and 10.5-1 pistons. The dealer is really pushing the andrews cams with this, they have done a couple this way and showed me a dyno sheet with 110hp and 127 torque from this setup. The dyno sheet was printed in mph instead of rpm, when they email me a new one I will post it. Does any body have a bagger like mine with the wood cam, pistons and headwork. I would be curious to see how they do.

the Andrews 50hg don't fit where you guys talk about. The lift is .510, intake close 48, 248 duration and 38 overlap. I am open for suggestions.

Thanks

Get ready to use the gear shift lever more with the TW50. Dyno peak numbers may be OK but we don't ride on those, it's just a tool to tune with

Thanks for the reply, I think your right and I am going to stay away from the 50hg. I have read your replies to some other post and am seriously thinking of going with the tw7 or redshift 575, larger TB, and headwork. What size throttle body would you go to and would 10.5-1 pistons be a good idea with this setup or just stay with stock pistons and a .30 head gasket.

Why don't you contact me offline and I will give you some more information. I need to know more about what you want from your bike, how you ride and what is the typical payload.
Thanks
