LSR 2-1 for 103" motors...
« on: October 28, 2005, 11:15:30 AM »

I was in the shop yesterday and a buddies newly built 120" motor was installed in his RoadGlide...

The pipes were the sick looking LSR's. They had an aluminum coating, thus not chrome, yet nice. No sheilds and very fat...

They attached to a bracket opposed to the bag rail since they are shorter than a typical 2-1.

They fired the bike up and WOW.. :o

I searched around on the Internet when I got home and found an interesting article that states these pipes are great for larger motors specially mentioning 103's...

Anyone using these or even heard of them..??

Might be too loud for some, but they really looked and sounded wicked on that black RoadGlide...

Look like Double D's. But the "Baffling Alien Discs and Aluminum Butt Plugs" sound way too baffling to have part numbers, although they'll sell in certain circles.  [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif]

I have tried two sets the 2" pipe and the 1-3/4" pipe on my 95" motor I stayed with the 1-3/4 it gave me 5 more ftlbs TQ across the whole power band the 2" pipe is for  a 103" or larger motor  they use a heavy gauge steel have nice welds and great chrome they are slow to deliver  but are very good quality pipes that sound AWESOME I still have the 2" in chrome with slash cuts and heat shields if anyones interested steve at apitbullpapa@comcast.net

I thought about buying a set for my bike, after talking to them on the phone I would never do business with them. They are lacking any customer service skills and have a major attitude. I asked about sound levels and performance and the response I got is we don't get into those games, our pipes are the best. Well at about twice the price of Super Trapps you should get twice the customer service and quality. I bought the Super Trapps and couldn't be happier.
