I've done both trailer  and riding long trips and have enjoyed both. Usually haul a trailer to southern destinations fall & winter & will ride the bike to in summer months. I have driven a 1000 mile straight run in one day and the last few hundred aren't as fun. Remember , its the destination. Get there anyway you  can.
H mm, i always thought it Wasn't the destination, but the ride.

Well put. As I said, I've done both and have  no problems with either. Sometimes its nice in the tow  vehicle just shooting the breeze(in my case my brother-in law who I only see a few times a year )for the drive down catching up on whatever. When I'm in the passenger seat I still take care of a lot of company business which for me allows me to be more at ease once I finally get to the destination. Its all good in my books.I  Never critique anyone for the type of ride they're on or how they happened to get there. But then again, that's just me.
