True-Track, or Bagger Brace?
« on: April 29, 2009, 05:53:50 PM »

About to put a True-Track, or Bagger Brace on.
Other than installation, any thoughts on which to use?

All rear stabalizers do pretty much the same thing, Definitely needed pre '09
progressive suspension makes a good product as well, good bang for the buck  :2vrolijk_21:

I use a Bagger Brace... It is well engineered and well made.  Very simple and straightforward installation.  Good price.  I like it......   :2vrolijk_21:

Scott, how many bolts go thru the brace into the pan holes? I think this is the weak link of some of the systems.

 :orange:

I used the True-Track on my 07 Se Ultra and the investment was well worth it.

My dealer sells the True track (and a lot of them).  For pre 09 bikes.

I could tell the difference.  Mine was installed at about 6,000 miles rode it another 14,000.

Noticed you have the Traxxion on your 07.  That was going to be next upgrade but then I traded it for the 09.

Did you notice a substantial difference with the traxxion?

Who installed it for you?

They are not all the same!
Do your research, and decide.
I have the Bagger Brace and would not use anything else.

Who installed it for you?

I sent my forks to Traxxion in Georgia - they installed the cartridges - then I reinstalled the forks onto my bike.  About a week turnaround including shipping time.  Very simple assembly task.

The improvement over stock is nothing short of spectacular.  Amazing improvement - in both riding comfort and stability.   :2vrolijk_21:

Well worth the investment....

I went to the Traxxion Web page and found no info on whether the same benefits would be usefull on the 09's.  My 09 SE Ultra is so much more stable than my 07.  The front end does not get squirrelly at high speeds or serious twisties.

It could be the frame, the 17" front wheel, the fatter rear, the new design of tires, the longer wheelbase etc.  But it definitely handles a lot better.  A lot.

I just installed the bagger brace on my 08 SEUC with 29,000 miles and what a difference it made on the freeway at 85mph. No more wobble at high speeds and crosswinds. Much tighter in turns also. Very well manufactured and Ron at Bagger Brace/Phoenix Custom is awesome to work with!!

I had the True Track on my 07 Se Ultra and yes it as great.  My dealer is a rep for True Track.
