My homie’s wife once told him he’d better take better care of his friends ‘cause at our age you don’t make many new ones.  That’s sure not the case with this group.  Thanks to Van, Dave, Marty, JC and their beautiful wives and gf for all of the work and planning that went into making this one of the most memorable weekends I’ve had in a long time.  Just as it was a treat to meet V-girl a couple of weeks ago, I enjoyed meeting Jock this weekend.  People came from Arizona, Oregon and Washington just to ride motorcycles together with a bunch of us from California.  How cool is that!  I feel like I’ve known some of you all my life…we’re so alike.  One night we were asked to leave the motel parking lot ‘cause we’re making too much noise.  Next night we were asked to leave the porch of the bar because some golfers were making too much noise (WTF?).  Nearly snake bit another time.  Damn, I love this group!
