Just one more of my beautiful wife :2vrolijk_21:

Just in case you can't tell we are having the time of our life. I can't think of better way to spend time then riding, especially on the Ruby Red '09 SEUC, and taking in the sights of this fantastic country we live in! We are heading towards Yellowstone. Should be a beautiful ride. I hope all of you get the opportunity to take a ride like this!

I need a little help here. How to you copy a quote from one post to another and get it outlined?

So today we went to explore Bryce Canyon. Another incredibly beautiful place.
Look to the top right of the post and hit the "quote" button. :2vrolijk_21:

Anne has just informed me that we are on day 12, man time does fly....

Today was a travel day as we are heading towards Yellowstone. Pretty causal on the road 8am rode 310 miles with stops in by 4pm. This is just so easy when riding Ruby, cruise control set, highway pegs down, and music in the helmet :2vrolijk_21:. Anne too says its an awesome ride, of course she comes from riding on the back of a Fatboy. he one thing I really miss on such beautiful days is the half helmet, we are riding with modular helmets and believe the will be more comfortable when we hit cooler weather, high 40s to low 50s at Yellowstone. Another thing I have to say is a feeling you get (that I cannot describe) riding through this beautiful country we live in riding on a Harley-Davidson motorcycle, no timetable just riiiiiidin down the road Yee Haw!!! :bananarock: :pepper: :pineapple: :cucumber: :jalapeno: :apple:

Our route hwy 12 at Bryce canyon to 89 north, to 70 east, to 10 north, to 191 north, to Roosevelt, UT.

We started of with breakfast in a small town called Marysdale, a mining community, gold, silver and other metals, at the Prospectors Cafe

After the locals left we got to talking with our waiter who it turns out to be the owner and the cook is his son, Jerry and Sean. It turns out that 6 years ago Jerry and his wife bought a trailer to go on a trip similar  to ours. Jerry's wife was pregnant at the time and was diagnosed with brain cancer. She has been fighting the cancer with Kemo therapy but now is at the point where Kemo no longer will help. His wife is bed ridden and cannot speak. Needless to say the trailer sits never used and his wife won't  let him sell. Her was very happy to see Anne and I doing our trip. I guess where this is going is any of you that have a chance to do a trip, especially with your mate, don't take it for granted that you will be able to do it in 5yrs or 1yr or even sooner. Life is a fragile thing.

Sorry if I bored you with my rant, but it really made me think how fortunate I am to have this time with my loving wife.

Well that's not the right place. Everyone knows you gotta look near Area 51 if your going to find any.....

Looks like you two are having a great trip....

Chris and Anne

I really enjoy following your travels. Wanda and I made a similar trip a couple years ago. We hit 12 Western States, 2 Canadian Providences on an awesome 40 day trip. That trip was the best  high of our life and can't wait to do it again. Next year we are statring in Maine and working our way down the Eastern seaboard across the south and back to Ca. we are looking at about 2-3 months.
Have a blast and keep posting.
