As we were rolling down the road at 65 mph Anne wanted to stop to get a shot. I rolled of the throttle and swung across a lane to the left shoulder, I completely misjudged the slope of the shoulder and as I put my foot down to stop lost my balance point and over we went :o Luckily we were almost at a dead stop and Anne kinda rolled of to the side, I was still standing trying to keep her up. No injuries on us but Ruby took a few scratches to the edge of the fairing, think I can buff it out. So after a few minutes of GotDaam, Son of beeache, EFFEN A, we rode on.

And to top the day, as we came around this corner at dusk, there it was, a moose! The one animal we had not seen in Yellowstone. Anne was actually shaking she was so excited :o

Today found us in Rapid City SD. Home of Mt. Rushmore, the Black Hills, Crazy Horse Monument and THE BADLANDS!

Today took us into the Black Hills to see Mt Rushmore and Crazy horse

Hey, just cought this thread and what a great trip !!!  I don't know if I missed it but the only thing I could suggest on the way home is Monument Valley for great photo ops around sundown, and Ely, NV if you like ghost towns. You guys are a great couple on a great journey. Be safe and ride and post on.
