The Air Museum use to be a blimp hanger during the war. There were several others that use to be there also.

I'm glad lunch was not a disappointment :2vrolijk_21: It is one of our favorite lunch stops.

I have to say Oregon is a wonderful state to ride in. From the coast to the mountains to the Columbia river. You who are attending the GTG we have a blast. Unfortunetly we have a prior obligation for those dates and will not atrtend :(. hope to see some of you in San Juan Baptist on Labor day.

So here are a few more barns from Oregon

Of course if you hang out too long in the rest stop the gulls give you a little wink to let you know its time to go :2vrolijk_21:

Well Chris, ya know Terrie and I were following your thread.  Mostly from Sacramento but for the past ten days it was from various locations. :huepfenlol2:

A great thread and a great trip!! Like you, I am sorry to see it come to an end.  Fortunately, it will be preserved on this board for a long time so many more can enjoy it.  It surely won't be the same for those who go thru the 25 pages all at once.  So many of us got to live it as you traveled and we looked for your posts daily - and sometimes we worried and wondered what had become of you.  Thanks again for sharing your trip and I'm looking forward to the next one!
