just bought 09 SERG thinking of upgrading the speakers and adding an amp. I am looking for a sub woofer to put into one of the  small compartments on the fairing. Anyone seen this?

Not to beat this to death but I know ROB MAY has a bass set-up on his bike but you might also ask Mike (Puzzled).
I'm betting that between him, Jim (hd-dude) and Rob someone will have been there and done what your looking for!

Paul Yaffee had some installed in the fairing pointing at the forks on display at the Easyriders show. You might check his site see if he detailed them.

I have not seen a sub installed in the glove box yet, would like to though!

I have seen the Yaffe bike as well as several others that installed speakers in their inner fairings. I have tried this and it will require a very shallow speaker. I did not pursuit this option as I'm not willing to cut the bottom of my glove boxes out. Maybe with a second inner fairing I'd take a shot at something like this.

This set up shown on this bike is from Paul Yaffe.  Paul Yaffe uses all HawgWired parts except for the two 6.5 inch speakers in the fairing.  These are shallow enough speakers that they don't take out a single ounce of space from your storage in the fairing.  His kit gives you (2) HawgWired speakers for the stock locations, (2) Alpine Shallow install speakers, (2) Tweeters, and (1) 300 Watt amp, and (2) 75 Watt Satellite amps, and all wiring for about $1,500.  And the best part, it all fits into the fairing without taking any storage space up.

Who is storing stuff behind the fairing? Sure makes it tough to get to...............

OK, I gotta ask. Dose anyone know if there is a manufacture that makes a lower fairing speaker pod  for the 09 SERG? LarryB had some custom made but There has to be someone else who makes these things................Fuzz

Fuzz, I did a lot of searching and kevin was the only one that I could find, I wish there where other options.
