If someone offered me a choice of a 103 or a 110. I would go back and take the 103. Altough I have not had any problems with the 110 since I did a stage one, it is always in my head, when is the problem gong to happen. TThe 06 model 103 ran like a top always.
I dont know how to make a poll on the board but it would be interesting to see"If Harley went back to the 103 engine in future years, would you buy one? My answer would be YES

The SERG is the best Yet for me. I liked the 103 I had but the 110 is a torque monster. The only issue that has me perplexed is the cold engine piston slap at 3 grand with light throttle. Never had this with the 103 or 96's before. I'm told this is normal. Goes away when warmed up but I wonder whats really going on. This is typical with forged pistons but The SERG has cast. Oh well time will tell. :drink:

My 04' RG -88", 510G, FatCat, PCIII, which dyno @ 90hp/90tq.
This has been a great ride. The 18' front wheel made the bike feel very nimble.
But it's time for a new bike.
I do like to make it my own, so with the SERG this would be minimal.
I was bidding on a wrecked (cosmetic only) 09' SERG, which sold for $20K on Ebay.
That bike I could of put back together with my own flavor.

No problems encountered yet, but the piston slap between 2.8-3k RPMS bothers me enough that I called Axtell and ordered new cylinders  and flat top pistons to remedy the issue. Currently have Jet Hot coated non-cat head pipes w/2"Fullsac baffles and SEST tune.  When I swap the jugs and slugs, I also plan to add cam (32H or TW7) and Pro-Street porting by Don @ Deweysheads to help cool things down more.

Don't forget the crank.
