2 1/4" fullsacs
« on: May 09, 2009, 08:26:51 AM »

Has anybody tried the 2 1/4" Fullsac baffles for the 110" CVO? Some thought they may rob power. I am running the 2" now with 09 non catalytic converter head pipe and SERT and they perform well, but would like a little more sound to drown out the "normal" engine clatter.

I wonder if the engine clatter is more noticeable, because of the plastic heat shields by the rider's crotch reflecting the engine sounds?

If I remember right, Fullsac said I would loose a little low end torque with the 2.25 but nothing in the mid to upper RPMs.

I am very happy with the 2.25, going from stock with cat, to the no cat, 2,25 and the TTS tune that fullsac provide, I only noticed gains every where :coolblue:

I went with the 2.25 Fullsacs and the TTS Master tune and the map Steve e mailed me. Changed out the head pipe too. Perfect ....I am 100% pleased with the sound and the way the bike runs.

I went with the 1 3/4 on my 96" '09. Used Steve's map from HIS 96" but, did a V-Tune on that map. Changed a little here and there, using the V/E tables generated from 4 runs. Bike runs fine, heat is gone, mileage is still up there as when we started. Gotta thank Doc for all his hard work, answering questions and taking time to help me out!
I have the 2" fullsacs on my 113", still trying to keep the noise down, but, it barks pretty good on a load. I get spoiled on the fast bike, but, oh well........that's what it's all about, right?
