My 09 SE RoadGlide set up
« on: May 10, 2009, 02:29:17 AM »

I finished my exhaust set up this morning.. This is what I have done to my 09 SE Road Glide. I put 150 miles on it today and I am very happy. The bike is running perfect so please don't bad mouth my choices.

Vance & Hines power duals
FullSac 2.0 muffler cores
Vance & Hines FuelPak

The bike is running perfect at all speeds & RPM's. Not even one problem with the fuel Pak mapping.
The sound is perfect for me. Not to loud and not to quiet. My riding buddy was riding 09 SE Ultra with
Monster Ovals and our sound was very comparable. He stated he wishes he had heard about the FullSac
baffles before he spent all that money on the monster ovals.
Just thought I would let you guys know what set up I have and that it has made me happy

Scotty,

I am glad you are happy with your choice, don't worry about anybody else bad mouthing your choice, if it's good with you thats all that is important! It's YOUR bike.

Would be cool to hook up with you while I'm in town to hear your set-up. I'm definitely sold on the Fullsac... leaning towards the 2"s. Probably go the cheap route and just use the 96 take-off.

Hey Crusty

Good luck with picking up your new bike. I live North of Seattle about 30 miles in Marysville, WA. I doubt if I will be down in Renton on Sat. but I know you will be grinning from ear to ear.
I see you are at Yokata. My daughter & son-in-law were over there for four years. They are at Malmstrom AFB in Montana now. What a small world..
Take care.. I would love to see your new bike once you are on the road.

The V&H Power duals have no cat.

I looked at that option... but after reading the bang-for-buck factor just wasn't there with the V&H duals, I held off. I'd be interested to see what your expereince is before spending $400+ on something I could get for $100 or less (OEM non-cat header)
