Need Info: '09 SERG Tach: Cruise and ABS Lights Out??
« on: May 12, 2009, 12:02:41 PM »

Help please.  Has anyone encountered this issue?

The Cruise and ABS lights in my '09 SERG Tach stopped working.  The cruise control and ABS do work, however.  Everything else seems to work fine.

Also, when I switch to ACC the tach light goes out altogether while the speedo light stays on.  (Dealer says this is normal).  I have installed the  xenon headlights and upgraded amp & speakers bit don't see how this could be the issue.  Dealer says I do not have any fault codes.  HD says plug in a new tach and see if lights work but that it could be an ECM issue.

      Thoughts??  Thank you!!

I don't know about the ABS and Cruise lights, but when I switch mine to ACC, both the speedometer AND Tachometer stay lit.

i'd check the fuses.  I have also noted that what they are labeled is not necessarily what they control.  You may need to pull several and inspect them.

Smuuth,  good to know, thanks.  Dealer wrong again.

IROAR,  The electrical schematic does not show separate fuses for instrument lights but I'll check.  Thanks!
