I posted this on another board and thought it interesting...

OK, I need a little help on this one in case I'm missing something.  Below is a picture out of the instructions for the new 70032-09 Tour-Pak Harness Kit for Ultra Models and it helps identify the antennas...

So, uh, how do you tell them apart again??   :confused5:

One package says CB antenna and the other says AM/FM?

Obviously there is an arrow and "CB" on one, and an arrow and "AM/FM" on the other.  Looks pretty easy to me! ::)

(Note:  Due to the economy, many companies have eliminated niceties like proofreaders along with the other non-essential folks to help cover the executive salaries and perks.  Maybe if you all buy more bikes H-D can rehire the proofreader.)

Mine has "CB" embossed on the side of one antenna at the base and "AM/FM" in about the same place on the other.  You can see it without removing the antenna.  The instructions were probably translated from Chinese.

And yes, the bike is filthy.  Just got back from a nice road trip!

Yup, they sure do.  I checked mine.  You'd think they would just say "can be identified by label embossed on base".  I even have Harley shorties left from my '07 and they're embossed as well!  How about that.
