A final note…Thank you to HogBreath, Jestor Décor and the entire krewe who put this shin dig together…Another fine example of the value of these forums and I for one look forward to others.  I truly appreciate the effort that everyone places on these events and forum.

It should be noted that as I was taking my final photograph there was one that I wish I had been able to take.  But that is a story for someone else to express.

Someone ask Tommy what this picture was about.

Seems I knocked the kick stand spring off coming down the mountian from Brasstown Bald.
 


Since I didn't have a spare spring, I tied a piece of cord to the stand, ran the cord between the frame and right exhaust.  When it was time to ride I would stand the bike up, pull up on the cord, lay it across the seat and sit on it!  When it was time to put the stand down, just stand up and the stand falls into place!  Worked great!  Just needed to remember not to raise my a** off the seat while rolling!
