Hesitation off idle
« on: May 15, 2009, 06:58:51 PM »

My 2009 SERG has a hesitation just off idle.  You roll the throttle on and it hits a dead spot.  Anyone else have this problem?  Had it before I removed the cat and added the 1.75 Fullsac's so that ain't it.(although the dealer thinks so)  Will it "tune" out with a SERT? Thanks

although the throttle response was good, it got much better after I did the tune. Did another 3 V-tune sessions yesterday, the only thing that could get it closer now is a dyno. running sweet. my neck is a little stiff this morning so I know it's peppier

Yes, definately. You need a Super SERT, however.

And as soon as H-D can figure out how to gouge us for another hundred bucks or so they'll obsolete the Super SERT and replace it with the SUPER_DUPER SERT.  $599, cables, maps, box, etc. optional.  This H-D stuff is like a license to print money.
