4800 miles to date, very happy with the ride quality.

Left mirror chrome starting to peel, rear shocks leak down, fairing squeaking.
Low speed front end wobble, not bad overall.. :2vrolijk_21:

Well, although I have the FLHTCUSE3 with 15,300 miles, let me respond:
1.  No lighting problems except left rear brake light failed at around 8K.
2.  Got 13000 on the rear tire; front is still original and looks good...front will go 18-20K I guess.
3.  Only get any noticeable engine noise when it gets HOT due to traffic or 1st/2nd gear mountain climbing on steep back roads
4.  Factory GPS is crap; I use my Garmin Streetpilot 2720 mounted to the left handlebar side - pipe the sound thru the sound system to either speakers or helmet, depending on which helmet I'm using.
5.  Only problems were engine related: leak at oil filter adapter to oil cooler (gasket, dealer fixed under warranty) AND rear jug ACR failed (also dealer fix under warranty).  Other than that, engine runs great!  Tranny shifts super, and mileage aint too bad with RTDs, Stage I air, SERT, and a dealer dyno...40-42 mpg.

I can't complain about handling although I can feel the frame flex when pushed hard in turns, but it's a cruiser so I'm happy.

5200 miles.
Love the paint.
Like the new exhaust - much cooler than 08.
I know this doesnt jive but I really like the GPS.
The seat is great but I do fear I am on my way to the wear holes.
Love the fatter rear tire.
Love the fact there isn't another one just like it every time I park at the dealer.
Don't think I could ever own another without the push button lock for the bags.
Didn't think I would ever use a heated seat or grips...now I really like them.
Was really disappointed in the lack of a smooth ride until I figured out I need a minumum 35psi in the shocks-now happy with the ride and very happy with the handling.

Font tire cupping - front end wobble
GPS did not work from factory
2 bulbs blew in the first 1000miles

I like this bike better than any I have ever owned.

  • RUMSPRINGA!!!

I'm at 9500 miles and so far my only electrical problem was a whining in the stereo which ended up being a bad head unit. Harley replaced it and so far, so good. My front tire sounds like a dump truck going down the road, but the tread depth is in good shape for the mileage. My Harley shop is trying to get the MOCO to replace it free of charge...I'm holding my breath. The rear tire hardly looks worn at all. I'm leaving this bike 100% stock and riding the pi** out of it. Everything is wonderful on the bike and I'm loving every mile even more than I did on my 00' Ultra.

Only 6000 miles here, just a couple of little things.
 1. Lots of trouble with the GPS at first, it would always go back to default, change the time to another time zone through the satellites. My dealer finally
got a fix from MoCo. They blamed it on the metalflake paint and chrome around the satellite dishes. So far so good. But I installed my zumo on the
bike, more info on that and a map to work with.
 2. Paint on the engine cases is starting to come off. Spoke with my dealer today and they said that it wasn't a warranty issue but they would call MoCo
to see what they said. Waiting to here back from them.
 3. Engine is noisy, thinking about changing to Amsoil.
 4. Engine ran really hot. Installed Rush slip ons, changed the air cleaner, added a race tuner, and tuned on a dyno. WOW what a difference!!! Cooler
and it runs like a different bike.

I love this bike.... a big step up from a Heritage Classic.

1700 miles on my 3 week old SEUC4 and no problems yet. I agree on the GPS, hard to see and not user friendly to program. I traded a 08 anniversary edition and I love the ride of the 09. Worried about the tire wear. On my 08, got 13000 out of rear and 23000 out of front. Doesn't sound like that will happen on the 09.

Not a warranty issue?  They cannot be serious!  :o

Any chance of a copy of your map? ;)

12,000 miles on mine.  Starter went and had new ACR's installed.  GPS didn't work until they finally got me a good module.  Front tire was getting pretty bad by 5000 to 6000 miles, but then had to replace it due to getting a flat.  Otherwise, I would have probably gone with a new one soon anyway.  Rear tire replaced with 11,000 miles and may have gotten another 1000 miles out of it, but since I was leaving on a trip with uncertain weather conditions ahead, went ahead and replaced it for safety purposes.  The dealer asked me how I got that many miles out of the rear tire, as they have only been getting 6000 to 7000 miles on the rear for the 09's they have seen.  I'm assuming that the higher mileage is attributed to long trips with mostly highway miles, and that if you ride more local stuff with more stop and go, we won't get this kind of mileage out of the rear tire. I'd guess that the group of us that has over 10,000 miles already on an 09 is the group that does the long trips more than localized stop and go riding.  So, I think the rear tire mileage is one of those items that will carry that familiar disclaimer..."your results may vary".  Other than that, I think I have had more issues with the dealer than with the bike itself.
