George Anderson's tour pack extenders
« on: May 25, 2009, 05:52:35 PM »

Just wanted to check---is everyone still happy with Georges extenders on their tour packs?  Are they doing a good job for your passenger? Nobody has removed them, right?  Anybody want to sell theirs?  My wife thinks she could use another couple of inches, so I thought I'd try one. Just wanted to check before I ordered. thanks

Not removing mine...... not sure what to tell you about the wife's need, they always lie when they say size doesn't matter  :ROFLOL:

My wife is not a large woman, but she was very cramped with the stock TP mounting.  The relocation kit made a huge difference in comfort for her.  Totally worth it for a happy rider, and the appearance is really unchanged - it's not obvious that the TP has been moved back 2.5 inches.

My wife loves the extra room and it gives plenty of clearance for the rear speakers.  Never going to remove it.

Great product & a nice , trusting guy. I phoned him up from up here in Canada & because I purchased 2 sets, he said he would pay 1/2 the shipping but didn't know how much it would be. He sent me up the brackets and  said" once you see how much the postage was on the box" , mail him a US money order for both brackets + 1/2 the shipping. Can't get any better than that.

I put on my 08 SE Ultra.  It gave my wife enough wiggle room to feel a lot more comfortable on the bike.  I am keeping mine and recommend George's device as one that works, looks good and is easy to install.
