Are you buying a set of branch heads done by John or having yours reworked?

If you are buying them I am very sure you will be very pleased with them.   With the 103 bottom end, Harley RT, Harley 95 juggs, Zippers 50mm Throttle body and Rhineharts, and heads done by a local guy here in the Daytona area I had 117/109 with the 251 cam and 10.0 to 1 compression.  Recommend though Gear Drive Andrews 55g's.

I would also recommend a zippers schim for the oil pump alignment, forged flattop pistons, new lifters and something to tune it all with when your done.  Also make sure the heads you get back dont need the rocker boxes clearanced.   If they do need this then be sure to send your rockerboxes to John at Branch to be sure they get done right.

1.  Throttle Body.   Exceptional.   never have had a problem with it.  Cruise works like a dream idle is super.   I do not know of a single person personally that has even a lick of problems other than the football cover which should be rectified by the end of this month.

later this month they will be releasing a product not sure of what they are calling it, but you can call John Kitzmiller at Zippers and he can tell you exactly what it is.   This is my only complaint and they are making it right for me :).

2.  Cam would be either a 26g or if you ride 2 up a lot the 37g.   However since our heads already accept a .550 lift i would go with the 55g i loved the torque / power from it. and since your going to have your heads done i would bet this combination would be exactly what your looking for.   With decent heads you can expect at least 115 tq / 110 hp with 10.0 or slightly lower compression.

3.  Before going and having your heads done I would honestly wait about 45 days and see what Zippers is going to deliver for our CVO bikes with our stock heads.   They are prototyping our heads right now and expect by jan 1. to have something to show off.

4.   Not that many people have proven results with our heads and most have gone to welding them up and then setting them up.   If you decide to go with Branch call John first and ask him what he is doing for the hemi style head.   Since these heads are vin restricted not many places have even worked with them let alone setup a program.   Right now it seems the only ones getting results are the ones that have welded them up and redone the heads.
