Spectro Oils & Lubes
« on: May 26, 2009, 09:44:42 PM »

Stop by a local bike shop today and the tech was telling me about Spectro Oils and Lubes.
He is saying its better than Amsoil, I have never heard of it. I did buy there heavy duty full
synthetic 6 speed transmission lube to try. http://www.spectro-oils.com/index.asp
Has anyone used this product before?

Thanks,
Scorpio

Spectro has been around for a long time and has a pretty good following in the non-Harley world.  I haven't used their motor oils, but I have used their gear oils in the past (shaft drive Honda, then in a 5 speed Harley trans) and found them to be excellent relative to the other oils available at the time.  If you're still running SYN3 in the trans, give their trans lube a try.  I think you will be seriously impressed by the difference.
