Just about the saddest thing ever...
« on: May 27, 2009, 09:53:37 AM »

(written by fellow BlackSheep HDFC brother)

Mother's Day at 2:00 PM my brother in law and his 9 yr. old grand daughter were riding on his Harley near Spokane WA when a 89 yr. old lady T-bone them. The grand daughter was killed and my brother in law was crushed from the waist down. He has been in surgery since about 3 and it's 11 now. My wife has been up there visiting for the past week and getting to see her niece for the first time in about 6 years. This is so sad my brother in law loved his little grand daughter so much that this is going to crush him when he comes out. So I'm asking for you thoughts and prayers for this little Angel and her family. These are good people, and we all have a heavy heart right now. Please give you kids and loved ones a big hug... . I'm in the process of setting up another account for my brother in law Robin and Jessica, the mother of Nehalah. She actually lost her job because of this tragedy... And I know Robin is on a long road to recovery. Now I'm defiantly not a guy that asks for hand outs, especially in the tough economy we are in. I'm just trying to do what ever I can for this family.

Nehalah Rain Susan May

Robin Had recently lost his job at Alcoa after 20 yrs. He and his wife Sue just relocated back to Washington, his home state, from Michigan. They wanted to be closer to the family farm. Sue just had major back surgery about three weeks ago, so she will have a very difficult time with all the help robins going to need in the coming months. We all know how those medical expense can add up. He is looking at multiple surgeries, he has had 2 already, and many months of recovery. We have set up an account in his name, Robin Scholz, to offset some of the expensive. So whatever you can do would be hugely appreciated. Donations can be made to Robin Scholz Benefit Account Bank of Fairfield 201 w. North River Dr. Suite 305 Spokane, WA 99201 contact Jenny Sampson 509-328-6000 jsampson@bankoffairfield.com checks can be made out to Beverly Susan Scholz in the memo Robin Scholz Benefit account

Thank you for reading & sending prayers.........

There was a link within the e-mail I received, but it was no longer valid.  I did, however, find this with a google search of the little girl's name:

Thank you.  I don't want there to be any misunderstandings --- the author of the original e-mail sent to me is a brother in Christ that I ride with.  We are both members of BlackSheep Harley-Davidsons for Christ

What a terrible tragedy! So sorry to hear about this, it's seems like it's happening more and more to our brothers and sisters, and nothing significant is being done to the cagers.  :soapbox:

My thoughts are with the family.

How heavy my heart is after reading this. I prayed for Robin and Jessica as their need of our prayers and financial help is great! I know Nehala is in the loving arms of our savior, but it's so hard to hear when it's a baby. I will also place them on our prayer list at church and a donation is on the way! God Bless!
