Contour luggage rack on chopped tour pack

Some time back I posted about the luggage racks on the chopped tour packs. I went ahead and did the Contour Luggage Rack. My primary goal was not to carry extra luggage, but have a place to carry a full face helmet when at a Rally... Here is what it looks like if anyonw is interested.

Looks good, I dont know if I could drill those holes in that nice tour pack. But the rack looks good.

CVO - I had already gone thru that when I did the LEDs on the tour pak and saddlebags. This time was easy - grabbed the 18v Dewalt and got after it.

JR - name of the bike. The wife named it first time she saw it. Said it reminded her of a character in the TV show "Addams Family". I thought of Jamie Lee Curtis in the movie "Trading Places". I like mine better...:)

Thanks for the pic of the rack Jim. It looks great. I had been waiting to see that new design before committing to anything else. Thanks for helping me spend more money.  [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]  The LED's fit very well. Who did you get them from?

Laker - Got the LEDs from Radiantz. The one on the tour pak is a 100 LED strip - 12" long. The red tube comes 18" and I cut the excess (~6.5") into 2 peices and then used a single 40 LED strip cut in half to make turn signals. Wired all the strips into the HD brake / turn controller harness and used automotive (they lock and are aterproof) style connectors under the seat for quick disconnects.

Just purchased one off ebay for $75.00 from Ill. HD Stealer. New in box I  know they had three left if anyone is interested?

I have the "mini" and yours looks better and is more user friendly with the curled sides.  Looks good!
