CUSE4 End Caps?
« on: June 02, 2009, 08:40:02 AM »

All:
Any intel on when MoCo intends to make end caps avail for the '09 SE stock mufflers?  :nixweiss: I'm considering the turn down end caps with the Fullsac solution.

Thanks, UT.

They haven't made any changes in 4 yrs I doubt that they will any time soon, I installed fullsacs in the SE Aftermarket Mufflers that way I can use any endcap I want.

Thanks dartman for the reply and posting the pic.  :2vrolijk_21: I did follow an earlier post regarding your same configuration. I was hoping for a bolt on solution w/o having to buy another set of mufflers though.  ;)

Thanks, UT.

Gotcha, I tried a number of times to retrofit End caps on the stock mufflers, It can be done by making a plate with four threaded holes to attach the end caps, which in turn would be affixed to the muffler body using the three Mounting holes in the OEM pipe, Or you can use the OEM mounting bolts and J clips to fill the OEM mounting holes,  drill and tap the Fullsac Baffle ends  and use 3 in screws to pull the end caps snug against the muffler body, I was in the process when I stumbled across the SE pipes at a Dealer tent sale, Problem solved.
