Do you sometimes find it difficult to get nuetral ? Gear changes are smooth up and down but finding nuetral !! just slips straight through

Most people find that once they get rid of the MOCO's Syn3 lubricants that neutral is easier to find.

Install Redline MTL in your primary and the clutch will release better so that neutral will be easier to find.  If Redline not readily available, use Mobil 1 or Amsoil in your primary.

Get rid of the Syn 3 in the tranny and VTwin also..

I had the chance to ride a friends 09 SEUC yesterday for about 60 miles.
It has syn3 in all 3 holes.
I could hear transmission whining and it was a little hard to get in neutral.
When finished I dropped it off at his house and got back on my 09 SEUC, , , AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH no whine, easy to find neutral.
Sometimes we forget how good we have it, I was reminded of that yesterday.
Redline Shockproof in tranny and Mobil 1 in the other 2 holes.
It's the small things that make a big difference.

Yep, neutral's a beech on the '09. Running Bel-ray and all's good 'cept getting that green light. 'Tis often easier to just reach down w/ my hand.

I've had that problem.  Even started a thread called "And then neutral went missing" a year or so ago.  Turned out to be Mobil 1 in the transmission.  Switched to Redline and no more problem.

I noticed the same dam thing. New oil next week. Can't wait.

I found N much easier to find after adjusting the shifter levers.  Something about the factory angle just didn't work for me.

i have found MTL in 2 forms MTL & MTL90 which do i need ??
Redline shokproof no problem.

You want "MTL" the other is "MT90" and not what you want.

You can also use Red Line V-Twin Primary Case Oil. 

The following is from their website: "Red Line's new V-twin Primary Case Oil is designed for '84-to-present V-Twin American motorcycle engines. This includes aftermarket engines of similar designs. This product is similar to Red Line's MTL and is for use in the primary chaincase with wet-diaphragm spring clutches."

Redline in the primary and Mobile 1 in the tranny cured my hard to find neutral issue but the first and fifth gear whine is annoying, especially fifth.

I went with mobil one 10-40 in primary and tranny. I can find neutral easily now.
