Brake Light with G.A. Tourpack Relocator
« on: June 08, 2009, 02:25:49 PM »

After I saw the photos of the S-10 3rd brake light I thought of doing the same. The light would have fit under the tourpack without extending past the sides. I just needed to make the holes to attach the light. But once I installed the tourpack relocator from George Anderson (great product) I realized it would no longer work. So I put some thought in this since I wanted more lighting and came up with a similar alternative.

I got a 10 light led off ebay (about 11" long x 1 1/4" wide) originally made for trailers, made a simple stainless steel bracket and painted it black in the shop to mount to the rear support bolt on the G.A. bracket and plugged it in. Works great and blends in fine. Light was $20 and the H-D plug & pins were $4 - good deal.
