Thought I would share this with everyone,  Kuryakyn has just come out with this piece.  Adds a nice touch I think !

If it's plastic it won't. I never have much luck with the goodies from Kuryauin or Harley. Maybe it's the Florida weather, it always starts to rust.

It is a metal piece.  Maybe the weather, not sure,  I have run Kury chrome for several years on other bikes and never have had any problems with rust or peeling.  Hopefully it want start now that I bragged about it.

With all the Salt spray in the air in Florida, you always have the risk of rust or pitting, frequent washing will help :2vrolijk_21:

Speaking of pitting or rusting,,  after replacing my original extended rear brake lever, the new one pitted away in only about a year. I heard about a company in Ft . Lauderdale called Gulf Plating. I had the original re-chromed and installed it tonight.  It came out really nice and looks great.  Only $90.00 this time instead of about $150.00 and maybe this one will last. We shall see. Only took a few days to do also.

Just put one on my bike too, from harley not kuryakyn but it is the same.
