Thanks everyone for the kind words, right now I am running on a high like no other which includes lack of sleep over excitment. The dealership was awesome and the detail job they did was outstanding, this was the very first time on a purchase I could not find anything wrong, after me and my buddy performed a scrutinizing detail with precise inspection could not find one blemish, this is outstanding in my book. The moment was precious and I was nervous as a cat when I saddled up the stallion and left the parking lot, I was very glad I convinced the wife I need to ride solo gettin out the gate to get acquainted with Ruby.
Mike H to answer your question I currently have a commuter Kawasaki KLR650 and have had enduro style bikes since I was in high school, my biggest bike I ever had was a Honda Magna V45, took about 10-15 years off from riding after we raised all our kids and decided to get back into it with KLR650 to commute and save on gas when the fuel prices went sky high at 5.00 gal and then the desire and passion took off from there, I started shopping for Goldwings and test drove a couple and could not justify the cost

(amazing how this turned out-$$$$). Went back and forth and trying to ultimately decide what was best and the wife decided for me when she kept talking HD, then one night I showed her a Ruby picture online and she said thats it go get it and lets ride, the rest is history with a 10 month long wait that was well worth it.

I do think it is time for good measure to sign up for a good Safety Riders course and might learn a few new things that will benefit our safety and protect my precious cargo of the wife. The journey begins, will stay in touch with my new family.
Later, Taz
