Kken,
Here is what I would do is since you have a 95 kit already I would either buy the 103 bottom end, send my existing heads out to one of the named guys will add them at the bottom, forged piston of the head builders choice and a matching cam they decide will run the best. I would try and stay 10.0 to 1 or under so you dont beat up the bike / starters etc. If you go to over 10 to 1 or greater get them to install compression releases.
If you were to to put a Andrews 55g in you would find that you have detonation if you went 10.5 to 1. The cam does not like much over 10 to 1. I know cause I had the problem and andrews had me remove the cam. The intake closes to early on that cam.
If you stay harley go with the 251 cam if you want torqe for a long pull, if you want top end go to the 260 cam and make sure they clearance your heads to .609 and clearance the rockerboxes as well so you dont destroy them.
Depending on how you want to ride will determine what cam .... give us an idea of what your looking for and I am sure there are many people here who would be happy to help.
Other choices you might want to look into .... In the next 90 days Zippers will release a package for the 103 kit, or look to an SS bottom End like the 106, 116, or Zippers bottom ends, or Jim's bottom ends or whole motors.... how fast you want to go and how much you willing to invest.
You most likely going to need a throttle body which leaves ... drilling your existing out to 48mm, buying a horsepower inc, or a zippers or a speeds or a kuryiakin.
As an example:
Short Block takes our screaming eagle heads that come on the CVO's he welds them up uses stock piston gives 10.0 to 1 and makes 116 torque over 110 horsepower cost is approx 999.00 plus gaskets, shipping and then your labor on your end. Recommends a 55g cam another 700 bucks with gears and your off an running.
Most of the people making this type of power have converted the hemi heads we have that you will not have, so there should be a bit less work for them to give you the dome shaped head and good numbers.
Some choices of guys to do the head work and make the recommendations.
