hey guys! though I don't have a CVO at the moment I did just trade my 2000 SE Road Glide for a 2009 Road Glide. had to have the ABS and new frame. if you don't have one, don't ride one, because you will want it 5 miles out. I am so pleased with the new frame/ride i took off and road to Michigan on the new bike just to spend time with it. I hate to say it, but I call it "Honda-like". I also have a 2000 FXDX. I really wanted a Sturgis but just couldn't see myself on a 15 year old bike( I am a rider, not a wrench). but it does have it's add-on's. since I liked the looks of the Sturgis, I built one, my FXDX now is commonly questioned "what year Strugis are you?" Thunderstar wheels power coated with some black, and orange reflective striping on them. backed out soup bowl air cleaner and side covers with orange circles on them, I was close. I decided a 190 rear tire would look good, so off come the fender struts, replaced with some 1/4 plate steel to match same covers, a 2006 dyna rear fender and bingo! fat tire Dyna that looks totally stock! expect to those of us that know.......I also have a 180 mph Honda CBR1100XX, the best go fast bike for adults, I call it a gentleman's bike, room for us older riders, toured over 10,000 miles on it too!
Well I hope to exchange some great info in the future! if you are in Florida and you need info ... from Daytona to the Keys....
