Here's some more detailed pics of the Dugway:

http://www.midwestroads.com/otherstates/mokidugway/

Here's a video of some dumbass cruising down in an 18-wheeler! At the top I was thinking he musta had just the cab.... but looking in the mirrors going round the switchbacks he was definitely hauling a 60-foot box! Sure glad I wasn't hauling ass coming the other way....

I know it doesn't really matter.  An irrelevent question for that kind of ride.  But what's at the end :nixweiss:

The scooters I'm riding now just don't do gravel if given a choice.  Would be nice on a different rig, though.  spyder

Nice two lane road on top, same on the bottom. Just a way to get from one to the other.

Last May, returning from Sedona, Anne and I were riding our nice new CUSE down this road with Steve (Mungam) sliding behind us.  Was really cool!

I'm with you on that. :2vrolijk_21: That is a beautiful view, but the thought of the gravel, tight switchbacks, no guardrails, and meeting an 18 wheeler like in the video are just to much for me. :nervous: :nervous: I'd have the seat so far sucked up in me I could cough it out when I got to the end. :D :D

The thing about the truck video is it looks like it was filmed with a had held camera by the driver!!

On the trip back from the Sedona GTG in May 2008 we went up the hill.

Here is a great video I came across.
