Wanna bet???

Mine with the TTS Master tune program, cat removed and the fullsac 2.25 will most certainly set off car alrams :2vrolijk_21:

Thank goodness!!  I'm starting this process myself and would hate to think after all this I can't even set off a car alarm :nervous:

Only the rear will benefit from that programbut that is not the worst , because this is the one which will become hottest .

Sorry, but I'm confused.  Does the head pipe have 2 cats?  One that needs to be drilled out (with a core bit that I've seen in here somewhere), and the other that's indicated here?

No only one (1) Cat Convertor exists, The core drill deal just removes the portion of the cat in front of the rt side muffler, the rest as show in the above photos remains if you use a core drill. I bought a RK header and had it coated but I think a core drilled pipe would be fine, most of the flow goes to the rt anyway due to path of least resistance. And really after all the discussion/opinions all the baffles in the aftermarket exhaust are the same, a pipe with perforations poked into it and packing, that will eventually burn out, wrapped around it. Fullsac & Reinhardt baffles are vitually identical, Had both out last weekend side by side. If you scour the dyno charts, hp may vary by 3 or 4, this is probably due to location/operator (read human) error. Don't sweat the pipe thing, do what is easiest, just remember to keep it quite as you can, cities are getting tired of us!

The only way to remove all of the cat is by surgery. you are correct. Core drill is only partially effective. The Bike now runs better than any Harley Davidson I have ever owned or ridden. I installed the Head Quarters Pro Tuner and cannot believe how this bike rocks! Closed loop self tune. I did not have to install race tuner... I have never been more impressed! :drink:

If  you want to do it right you have to remove the whole cat, or use a 09 96" 49 state head pipe.  You pick up some flow coring it, but pick up much more removing it. :coolblue:

Rode all day with the HQ Pro Tuner. Unreal, I cannot believe the throttle response and perfect fueling from idle to wide open. This unit adjusts from both O2's, throttle and crank sensor positions plus it is full time closed loop. Best HD I have ever ridden...and no race tuner or dyno time was needed! http://www.head-quarters.com/injection.html  :drink:

The HQ unit may be wonderful, but first of all you have a fortune with the Race tuner and the HQ tuner purchased (there recommendation) and what will this unit do that a TTS won't? You can hook the Mastertune up and ride, it will collect data then you can write that portion of the map in. The ratio's should not change often enough to constantly need monitoring, Especially when it cost's approx a grand to get them monitored and corrected.
My TTS with the FUllSAC map gives me the same euphoria that your system does you, and for less than half as much money.
A grand is to much to just tune a/f, in my opinion and unless I overlooked something that is all the HQ unit does, otherwise it is just along for the ride the race tuner started. And I AM NOT a fan of the Race Tuner, but it is what HQ recommends.

I have $430 invested and did not require any other tuner. The plus to the HQ pro is that it takes your narrowly closed loop system and converts it to a fully closed loop system. The HD system is only closed for a small portion of mid rpm. The HQ constant tune has a huge advantage over your map tune that was beat out on a dyno and never changes.  I am tuned for the real load and driveability conditions of the road including temperature changes. Ya, maps work good...so does old time mechanical fuel injection. Welcome to the next generation of self tune. :drink:
