This is a great site and I would like to thank all the people for the interesting topics, information, and responses I have gotten to some questions I have had. Here is another. Living in SOCAL I have some hangups about adding a power commander or a mastertune and non cat head pipe versus just getting 1.75 fulsac baffles, a harley dealer remap and an open air cleaner.(this is only because of possible smog certification issues I am hearing about) I was just wondering if someone who did that thought it was satisfactory and did not feel the need to add a tts mastertune or a power commander. My 09 runs quite well in stock condition but just like most everyone else I am irritated by the cat being in the head pipe and the fact that when I am in 6th gear on the freeway I really can't hear my bike except for a small bit of valve train noise. I don't mind spending the money for the non cat head pipe and mastertune, but if I could get some positive feedback from people who left in their cat and just opened up the air cleaner and mufflers I would appreciate it.
