SE mufflers
« on: June 18, 2009, 04:53:07 PM »

Why are 80493-07 SE mufflers listed for 07 and 08 dyna's except fxdse2. Is it a fitment issue or EPA related because
there is no cat in the SE muffler?
Thanks

You will find that on many items in the catalogs.  The standard parts catalog won't address the issue at all, other than to say it isn't available for a particular model, and the SE Pro catalog will usually mention it can be used but "For Race Use Only" to cover their butts on the emission tampering issue.  The mufflers will physically fit, the restriction is strictly due to the emissions.

Re this topic: will the SEST provide an adequate map for fitting the "non-fitting" parts to an FXDSE/2?
