Increased GAS prices

Gas prices are increasing again.
But we are lucky
WE HAVE BIKES
It is the best that we can do use our bikes. This is your most fuel efficient vehicle in your garage.

Yea,, i dont get it  :confused5: :confused5: I heard on the news the other day that crude by barrel is down but prices at the pump is going up... Screw Exon  :2vrolijk_21:

Actually my 91 Honda Accord gets better mileage than the Harley's do :soapbox:

get real guys, its fast approaching school summer holidays, petrol prices go up every year during summer and go down again in fall, FACT!

The option is sit at home and complain. I would like cheaper gas but that's not going to stop me from doing what I have to do. I just combine trips in the cage. Do most of my running around here on one of the bikes. Went grocery shopping the other day and hooked up the trailer behind the RG and had plenty of room for everything. It's a lot more fun on the bike!

 Get 40 mpg on the bike and my Civic, But get 60k-80k miles on a set of tires on the car, at $300.00 for 4 tires, compared to $400.00 for 2 on the bike and only 10k per! I don't ride to work very often. It would cost me $4,000.00 more just in tires, and you should see the rash/pitting on the car from these freeways! Would hate life if it were the bike. It's not like we don't ride, had 50k on the Springer, 43K on the ultra, and 31k on the CVO. We're at $3.50 a gal for 91 octane here in So. Cal. and will put 1000 on the bike this weekend easily. Oh well, Summer starts Sunday :)

around here, in west texas, we like high gas prices. means our local economy is getting somewhat better, some people are going back to work.

The bike sure does beat my SUV big time and it's a lot more fun to ride.  I'm thinking about a trailer...not for trips, but rather for around town.  Then I can get all of my groceries and trips to Lowes taken care of on the bike.

When gas got up to $3640.87.9 per gallen awhile back I hauled my little Bushtec to the stores pretty regularly.  Worked out just fine.

Wow!  It never got over $3000/gallon here.
