Screamin' Eagle Road King Bags
« on: June 19, 2009, 01:31:16 PM »

I have a black ice 2007 Screamin' Eagle Road King with the leather bags.  Does anyone know if it is possible to get hard bags that would match my Road King?

Thanks,
Keith

You can not get hardbags to match you bike from Harley. This is not an accessory they offer. You can pick up a set of used bags and have em painted to match. You also have a lot more say in the design. And of course there is the $$$ part too.  ;D

I will not show that picture to the wife.  Repeating: it is not possible to fit a tourpack and armrest back on a SERK.  It's just impossible. :o

Hi All,

Just a quick question:

I am looking at getting a set of hard bags for my 2007 CVO RK.
Can anyone advise if they use the same fittings as the leather ones
that are currently on the bike??

Many thanks

Can check the used parts department at your local HD store. Barnett in Texas started one and its pretty good. Parts are one shot; you buy and no return.

Hard bags will bolt right on your bike...no problem.   check eBay for some good deals from time to time...my 08 SE Road King with aftermarket fairing and H.D. bags painted to match..

I do like the fairing and hard bags.............
Have sourced a Quadzilla with the full audio kit and a set of hard bags - they all match - except the wrong
blue for my bike
Going to have them shipped over to Singapore and get them painted in the Candy Cobalt Blue + flames.
Thanks all for taking the time to advise.
Cheers :drink:

Singapore?! Gene in Washington is a whole lot closer and does excellent work. The hard bags fit, but you have to adjust the brackets. Super easy. Just loosen the bolts on the brackets, adjust to allow you to slip the hard bags on, tighten down the bolts.
