[smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]  Ed, you are a special person and have a special place in our hearts.  You made a point of walking up to us and introducing yourself to us at MV.  I was so impressed that you would think that I might be special enough to go out of your way to meet.  We got to hear you talking about some of your rides, we have read about some of your experiences, trials and struggles here on this fantastic site and you have become a brother - in more ways than one.  Thank you for being here each day and for your patience, wisdom, humor and just for being all around You!  Congratulations on becoming a member of the 1000 posts club.   [smiley=cherry.gif]

Over the past 6 months or so I’ve enjoyed meeting folks in MV and spending time just hanging out and shooting posts back and forth. There where times over the past months that this site was the only place I could get away from issues closing in on me. I’m glad I have a place I can go and just learn, laugh, post a little support for others and get twice as much back.

There have been many folks that I’ve PM’ed out of the blue with questions and I’ve always gotten a response, except from JR who forgets to press the send button. Love ya Buddy! Everyone here is willing to help out, give advice or guidance, this is a great place. I know there have been a lot of posts regarding this site as something special and I feel that it really is.

To my CVO Brothers and Sisters, you are the best.

Well folks,
      Here it is,  my 1000 post.  If you were waiting for some unique words of wisdom,  or the answers to the universe........Don't hold your breath.  All I can say is that it's been fun hanging out with all of you on the board,  and hope to get the chance to meet all of you along this road we call life.  In reality,  that may happen sooner than I thought.  I will be out of work officially April 1st, and have been toying with the idea of taking a month or so and ride across the country a couple of times.  If that does happen,  I'lll post a trip plan and see who might be within a days ride of the expected route.

Anyway,  with the riding season getting ready to open for all you artic dwellers,  I want to wish everyone a happy and safe riding season.

Thanks fellas,  it's been fun.   When I left the 1% club that I rode with for 10 years,  I needed something to fill the gap that didn't put me in a position to go to prison.......this fills the gap for me, and the prospect (no pun intended) of meeting all of you (hopefully in the near future) is exciting.  I'm not going anywhere (sorry for those of you who don't like me......).
