If you don't want to wait, go to replies 56, 57, 58 on page 4 of this thread and you can see what I did to make PJ's LH door work with a twist style lock.   FWIW.

I might end up going this direction however I was hoping that PJ's non-locking version would be a pushbutton with a finger pull instead of just a twist latch. Just concerned that a twist latch might open on it's own due to vibration while a push button might be a more secure latch from a vibration perspective.

What you are wanting would be nice.  That being said, I did the twist latch to PJ's door on my wife's bike and I have Eglidegoodies doors with a twist latch and they both lock solid with no movement once latched.  Just an idea for someone who doesn't want to wait.

Porthole:  The new version will be exactly what you described - pushbutton/finger pull!  PJ

Hate to add to an old thread, but got to say BZ to PJ57 and the gang. Just got back from Biketoberfest and installed my locking lowers from M.I & PJ. Looks great, works great, what more can I say!!! TOP NOTCH

I would like to be on the list for the non-locking version too, PJ.  Are you keeping track of us?  Will you notify us when you're ready for payment?

Please put me down for a set too.  In a perfect world (yeah, I know) they'd be the locking push buttons like the HD locking gas door, that way you can lock 'em if you're in a bad part of town (hey, I work in DC, that describes most of DC).  :nervous:
