Hey all,

I just picked up an '08 Springer with the 105th paint, number 500 of the 1050, only had 2800 miles on it.  Flew down to Charlotte, NC and picked it up on Wednesday, road to Green Bay for the weekend, then back to MN on Sunday.  1800+ miles so far, and despite about 2/3 of them being in the rain I love the bike.

I'm about 2 hours NW of Mpls and am a stay at home dad with two boys, 2 (and a half he tells me) and the other will be 6 on the 4th of July.  I try to get out riding as much as possible and try to make it to a couple events each year.  I'm hoping to hit Sturgis again this year for a couple days, and Green Bay was my other big ride.  Although I put about 2500 miles on my other bike this season before I got the new one.  I enjoy good cigars, good scotch, hockey (playing and coaching) and long walks on the beach...

Glad to be here, looks like a ton of great info that I'll spend the next few days searching and reading.

Gonz, welcome aboard from another Minnesotan! Just rode a SE Deuce back from Green Bay a week ago. Birthday gift for my wife. You've got a lot of beautiful riding up there. What dates are you looking to go to Sturgis this year? A few friends of mine and I are going out 8/1 and returning 8/5. Room for one more if you want to join us. We could meet down on I-90.
