My very much loved Golden passed away last night at the young age of 10. How he hated that cycle. When the bike went out he stayed home. He will be very missed and will always be remembered for all the wonderful time we shared. The only one that was always there for me even when I did so many stupid things.

As a dog lover I've always wondered why man's best friend may  live 10 ,11, 15 years  if really lucky & some asshole you hate more than anything else lives to the age of 90.

Muddypaws, so very sorry to hear of your loss. The feelings are awful I know, I lost my lab years ago and it still can choke me up if I think about him too much. Take care and after a while, if you're so inclined, go look at puppies, they may lighten your grief.

Sorry for your loss, we had to put our dog down last December, one of the hardest things i have ever done.

Woody was obviously a very good buddy.  I'm sorry to hear of your loss.  At least now he can go for a ride with you on that damn motorcycle!  Mine rides with me on every ride.

Being very close to the breed (we have two and belong to several GR rescue groups) we certainly understand your pain and loss and offer our deepest regrets.

 I am sad for your loss. They become such an important part of the family, it makes it tough when something happens.
