Carolina High Country, TN and VA
« on: June 28, 2009, 06:32:26 PM »

We were fortunate to have Craig and Martha along with Lewis and Kristina join us for some riding here in Western North Carolina, East Tn and SW Virginia over the weekend. It was great weather and it seemed like we were the only vehicles on every route we took. At least one of us has been living right I'm just not sure which one.

Just a great weekend riding with good friends. Craig and I will need to keep a low profile in Independence, VA for the next few weeks. Thank you officer Adams for understanding that us old guys sometimes forget how fast we are going.

The local store where you can purchase everything from a ticket to climb the tower to a rubber tipped spear. Of course we didn't pay good money to climb an old fire tower, that would have been like exercise.

Our Friday route included 2 miles of interstate where we got stuck in 1.5 miles of traffic. 45 minutes in the hot hot sun.

We see a pattern of Lewis spilling and dropping things. If he spills it he'll lick it up even off his own nipple. I just hope that was accidental.

After navigating through a bicycle race, a quick stop at the Cove Creek Store in Sugar Grove, NC.
