FL refers to fork size. The FL's have the "Hydra Glide" front end (or now what they have evolved into) and thus the 130mm front tire found on the touring line as well as the Heritage, Deluxe, Fatboy, and Crossbones which is why they all start with FL. The only stock modern bike to have the fat front wheel is the Fat Bob, but that one has a FX for its description.

X=Sportster, F=Big Twin, FL=Big Twin with big forks, FX=Big Twin with Sportster-style (smaller) forks, FXST=Softtail, FXD=Dyna Glide

A Heritage CVO would carry a designation of FXSTCSE FLSTCSE, not FXSTSE.

Wouldn't a Heritage be an FLST?SE? :nixweiss: I know the Fatboy is a FLSTF but I can't remember what the Heritage is.

yes, D00d, you're correct.......the Heritage would be a FL, not a FX pre-fix.  For example, my Nostalgia which is a cross between a Heritage and FatBoy is a FLSTN.......the ST is for Softtail and the N is for Nostalgia.  spyder

Caught me 'd00d.  FLSTC is correct for the Heritage, so a CVO version would be FLSTCSE.  These Harley designations get to be cornfusing.

Hmmm just thinking here....

Please check the equivalent inertia mass in kg for the FXSTSE = 490kg.
It's 510kg for the SE Ultra.
It can't be a Sportster, my guess is a Softail but what model.....

We've been there. What you placed into your post are the 2009 bikes. Not 2010. Total... does that always. They just copy all content and simply change the year. It gets them hits. Only after the new models are released by H-D, they will edit their page.
