OK< after half a bottle of 30 year old scotch (Came from Nicholas Cage, I worked on his house in Frisco last year). I went thru this thread while drinking and made a list of everyone that has stated they have an issue with their paint, either Black Crimson or The '06 Green, theres 34 of us including me, Id like to make a New thread that gets posted up with this one at the top and stays at the top, that is only for who has the problem, and who has been fixed so far...nothing more, this threads just getting way too long to add something like this. Id be glad to list everyone on one post who has the problem with a checkmark next to the names of thos ewho were satsified with the new parts. Any moderators care to help me out with this??,.  Id like to be able to add or subtract names if any one wishes not to be on the list, or I missed, or any new people that show up here. OR EVEN BETTER since I am not the best speller etc.. if a Moderator would post and up date the List for us as it changes??????? no comments etc. allowed on this the new thread. Please PM me someone.

Mike;
Start the thread and i'll make it sticky. State what you want again and list the names. We'll do our best to keep pit on topic.

Hang in there buddy!

Oh, and about the scotch........30 year old is way outta my reach.  I consider myself fortunate when the Class XI store on Redstone Arsenal gets a case of 18 year old.  Every now and again they can fill my request for ONE bottle of 21 year old.  I can't imagine how good 30 year old is.

Bagger, if you cut back from a case you could go off base for a bottle of 30 yr old ;D

YIKES , now thats lucky she wasnt hurt. Me, I hit the deer, hitting trees or rolling or hitting another vehicle and killing someone else or myself not worth the life of a deer. Your right Randy, car can be fixed or replaced. GL with that.

Mike,
 I know the way you feel. The factory rep that looked at my bike agreed that the paint wasn't right. She said "it wasn't her decision" and I would know something next week. The decision was NO new paint. Only parts are lower saddle bags and outer fairing.
 I called 3 lawyers and I got a JAG lawyer working on my case now. I should know something in a few weeks. I will not let this rest. I called the federal consumer affairs office and the lady said I had a case under the lemon law of VA. I have called the better business burea before and they are just mediators. They really don't help much. This would be a good case for a class action lawyer. Just think about all the other milk dud owners who haven't even realized their paint is messed up. They would have to be contacted in a class action suit.
  A friend of mine bought a Daewoo car just before they went out of business. Something went wrong with it and the dealer told him Daewoo is out of business and your warranty is not any good now. He started a class action suit. The last time I talked to him Daewoo was offering  $26,000.00 to him to drop the suit. He only paid about $12.000 for the car. He gets the most money for starting the suit. He said all the other owners will get a certain amount also. It took 4 years to get to court though. I haven't talked to him lately but I think it already went to trial.

Man, I dont have 4 years of patient in me for anything, This has got me feeling like Ive been thru 3 rinse cycles in a wash machine, and I have to start all over again

   After screaming at Poor John Selensky yesterday about the decision, and multiple phones calls the rest of the day and today. I was lucky enough to have someone higher up on the chain hear my complaints and I have a new Tank, Fairing and Front Fender on the way as of today, they want to let the dealership rub out the lower bags and see if this will help those parts. The only thing I dont like that I am being told, is, That they are sending these new parts,. and I will get to choose between the ones on the bike, or the new ones coming. Period. This is the last set they will send for me....I have not personlly spoken with the person who made this decision. We have played phone tag so far, but,  Im not real sure I can agree to this , I dont think its fair if the new parts come in like the originals again, or like the replaced set, and then what?, I get to choose betwen the 2 screwed up sets?????. I know for fact that the bags wont rub out, cause they have been massively rubbed out already by someone before they went on the bike...plus there are finger prints under the clear that are in plain site on both bags, But Ill let them try anyway, Im really just happy that the case is not closed like they told me yesterday.

  Thru all this, I do know, Its not the warranty divisions call on the replacement, it has been for me both times, The rep. Very frustrating vicious cycle to get anywhere the last 11 months. Also, The dealership at San Ramon has been great thru the whole process, I can't put any blame on these guys(and gal) , they have been the best, and without them, I'd never get anywhere, I only wish I first got my bike there. I* dont think Id be knee deep in BS like Drons has put me in till I severed ties with them.

  I still want to believe they are trying and going to get everyone taken care of here, Untill they say , thats it, no more, and its still stands like this for most of us, Im not sure Legal action can even be taken till then 2up. But Im no lawyer, Id rather just see the problem get fixed for everyone, fighting them like I am now, seems a lot easier than 4 years of lawsuits, ...but If thats the only way to get satsifaction, Im down with that too. And even if my bike is made perfect, I am willing to help the rest of you till we all are happy bro's. I hope we all feel like this. ......I got totally s**t faced last night ( and I do not drink , and when I do, its 1 beer) , and look at the instant results I woke up too!!!! I may be a raging achoholic in no time if the rest of my life gets this complicated.

My fingers are getting worn out keeping them crossed, but they are again and hoefully this time to some good result for you.

As I PM'd you I went and looked at one of the replacement hard bags that are in and I now have all of my replacement parts on hand.  My guys actually ordered the complete hard bag so I got new lids as well.

They look great off the bike, now to see how they look on it.

I will get the bike in next week for the install and get some pics at that time.  At this point they are changing out everything that has a stripe.

More in the next week or so [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]
