Hey hawgdoc, shouldn't the digitals as seen here be good enough ;D

I believe Bagger mentioned that picture could be from his bike before he got replacement bags the first time...

I'm confused... are you saying that Baggers bike had one good bag from the factory and one milky bag?? That just doesn't sound right.. [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

Bagger... good luck with the rep .. I know you're hopeful but don't let down your guard. The true proof of his sincerity will be if he's objective enough to see what you (and others here) see. ;)

I called the dealer today to see what the status is on my parts. The service manager said only 3 were in. I called customer service and left a message for John. He called me back and said 3 parts was all that was approved. I explained that I was told I would have all parts replaced in June and it is almost November. He told me the factory rep only authorized 3 parts. I told him no factory rep has ever seen my bike. He says he needs a factory rep to look at the bike before he can authorize the order of futher parts. So I have to take my bike 70miles one way tomorrow to Bluefield, WV to be looked at by a factory rep. I had read earlier about how it is difficult to see the difference in the paint unless it is in sunlight. Get a high power spot light you can plug into your cigarette lighter it really shows the difference! I will let you all know what the rep says tomorrow. If I do not get a positive responce I am getting a lawyer!! This has gone on long enough. >:(

2UP ... If you have a digital camera, take flash pictures of the affected parts and dump them to a CD to take with you to the dealership. The dealership should have a PC that can display the pics. The flaws really show up this way and the rep can use these as a basis to support your claim. He can take the CD with him. Good luck!!  [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

I saw the factory rep this morning. I had parked the bike in the shade and the rep said she couldn't see any problem with it. She actually stated "You brought this for me to look at?" I had my spot light with me and said look at it under the spot light you can really see the difference. She states "I don't care what it looks like under a spot light we only observe it under normal light conditions. I made her look at it any way. Luckily the sun was out and I said let me put it in the sun and you will really see the problem. When it was in the sun only a blind man could deny it. She agreed there was a difference but said it was not her call and she would send the pictures up she took. I am at the point now I really don't care what she says to the MOCO because if I get anymore BS I am calling a lawyer and everthing else I can think of. It is obvious whos side these factory reps are on. The one I saw was a woman with the last name of Sloan. I think her first name was Katherine. The only confirmed part that is in is the front fairing I haven't seen it yet. They said 2 more parts were in but no one can seem to tell me what they are.

I got in two and they are the side covers.  Everything else is in "never, never" land currently, but supposedly coming.

Thankfully YES!!  [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif] [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif] [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif] [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

MOCO authorized replacement of all parts with stripes and they have been ordered. Now the wait. I'll be touching base with the parts guy every 2 weeks for an update on my parts. Others have had to wait 3 months for theirs to come in ... hope mine is sooner but since the heavy riding season is past the wait won't be quite as hard.

I hesitate to write this because, up to now I've had nothing but good help from my dealer and area rep on my paint problems. They've been treating me very nicely and I've been a happy customer. I have never had reason to become upset nor make any threats whatsoever. I am presently in the middle of resolving yet a continuation of the original paint problem. They recently replaced all striped parts but only the front fender was right. the rest still have the milky problem, though perhaps not as bad as before. I suspect, however, the milkiness gets worse with time - maybe due to ultraviolet exposure or whatever. When I brought this to their attention they said they were again ordering new parts. That was about a month ago. I had been out of the country but when I returned a few days ago and asked about the status they said no parts had been ordered and the area rep wanted pictures. I was disappointed but - okay, I can work with that - as long as they make the right final decision.

So I hesitate to write until I see how this turns out, however, reading about you guys still having problems really riles me up. Some of you are now talking about lawyers and, I don't know, but wonder if some sort of class action suit might be worth pursuing. I should have an answer on my dilemma within the next few days.

thank you thank you very much, and these are takin as the sun was going down ;D

Twincam, your bike looks great! I can imagine how good that must feel. My front fender, as I said, looks the way it should now and I can imagine if the rest of the bike were the same it would be really awesome!
