John S, you may want to check out the recent thread under the CVO General Discussion Topics titled:  Hawg Halters Calipers.  It will give you some good info on improving the brakes on that scooter.  If I had that kinda power in that softtail, I'd want to improve those brakes.  [smiley=nervous.gif] [smiley=nervous.gif] [smiley=nervous.gif] JMHO.  Har!  [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] spyder

I have debated whether to go to a chain but I haven't yet.  It all depends on how you "pop" the clutch and how often.  My problem now is keeping the rear tire hooked up.  It would be easy if AVON made a wide whitewall but they don't so I am going to a Metzler that is a little wider than the stock one.  It will just squeeze in there.  I am changing it this winter after I get in ingraved like the front tire.  I have to be VERY careful twisting the throttle out of a corner.  If the bike is not straight the back tire wants to pass the front one!
  FUN[/u]!!!   ;D

Sounds like fun having that much HP don't understand how you can  run a stock 40 spoke wheel with that much HP.  A couple years ago I blew the center out of my Wide Glide 40 spoke wheel. Hubbard blew the hub out of his 40 spoke so bad he almost crashed and had to haul the bike home. And neither one of us have as much HP as you hope that don' t happen to you. I would like to see how much HP mine has on the dyno you use . Because they are all different . Good luck with that back wheel .

Hey Otis, How you doing, Man?  There's a lot more to going fast than just having a lot of horsepower in the motor, huh?  You Hillbilly Rocket Riders are still alive, maybe you should share the secrets.  :-X Har!   [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] spyder

Hello Spyder good to hear from you hope Nite Al is ok. First we fix the bike so it will take HP ,  Then we pump all of the HP in to the motor that it can stand and then we hold them wide open on the big road and if something is in our way Hubbard  takes to the left I go to the right and we don;t look back .

CORRECTED: Typo, mah spull chuckur nut werking gut.

Is there an AFR (Air to Fuel Ratio) for John S.'s dyno sheet? Sure be intresting to see how that fared for the monster mash moto. ? [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

"Monster mash moto" = an old time H-D mechanic I know slang for a real monster of a motor...guess I should have explained it first, did look weird at first glance. Sorry 'bout that.

Corrected above.......typo on the FAR...should have been AFR, normally graphed under the HP/TQ numbers. Moto is a slang from an old timer I know...means one monster of a motor. Sorry 'bout the confusion.  [smiley=oops.gif]

OK.  I got it now!!  I (not the bike) am a little slow sometimes!!!   :-[

Because it is a carb motor we did not have the intricate fuel seetings that an injected bike has.  Plus, we just did not have it up on the screen when we printed it.

While I am on that subject, I am running a set of Cycle Shack PHD-140SS pipes and we have to choose which pipe to put the "sniffer" in.  Has anyone had experience and seen a difference putting it in the rear pipe or the front one?  Also, if there is a difference between the two, what is the best way to correct it?  What difference is worth correcting?

I look at it and given everything else is the same, intake & exhaust flow rates, pipe lengths and volumes, etc the only thing I can see is the intake manifold.  Any thoughts?   [smiley=confused5.gif] :-/
