Anyone using HD Rocker Box Covers?

A friend of mine just bought the 06 Autumn Haze SE Fat Boy and tried to install HD Rocker Box Cover Part # 43868-99. These covers didn't fit at all like his 2005 SE Fat Boy did. He was wandering if anyone else has tried and has been successful on 2006 SE Fat Boy.

Buys a new SE scooter each year, completely finishes the bike with Chrome & Accessories
Rides the scooter 10k miles and sells it and gets the next years model.

But this year he couldn't put the Rocker Box Covers on and he is wandering if MoCo has changed
the size of bolts. He really doesn't want to do a motor bolt kit, to finish the rocker bolts.

I had the same problem with BOTH my 05 SEFB and again on MY 06 SEFB. They did not change the bolts. I think the problem is poor casting of the rocker box cover where it is dished out for the bolts. I ended up making my covers work but had to grind a little bit off of the bottom edge of a couple of the covers. the problem was that the cover was not seating fully and would not snap into place.

Here is one of the only pics I have of my 05 SEFB. I traded this one in on the 06. It was 11 months old when I saw the 06 and had to have it.
